Making History

I'm done with being an average kid in my average world Oh look how my life has turned Nothing too good and nothing too bad It's just there and it's sad And oh to live my life, I cry after every month Thinking I’m stuck with my so-called "fate" Calming myself by saying I know things will change Is it that I'm different or I’m just strange? Do I want my voice to be heard or am I just vociferant? I don’t want to be average cause I know inside I’m different And though I'm harsh on myself One can’t really blame me for I do it because of the circumstances in my life’s shelf I don't know what to do except take this in and wait I feel like I do nothing else but hate But I know I’m worthy of way more than this I'm just stuck in an abyss And oh to finally be free, I’ll smile without feeling guilty I want to make history Trust me I’ll reach heights or at least I’ll try to I don't care about it much I just want to be happy and not blue I want to have enough energy to make people smile I want to choose for me and have a new lifestyle I’ll break out of my so-called fate But for now, I’ll just wait I’ll hold my tears back for later For I need it when my moods better
